A drum practice room is simply a space which is soundproofed in which you can practice drums. Drum practice rooms will usually include a drum kit but may not include drum cymbals, a drum pedal, and a snare drum. Simply choose a drum rehearsal space that suits your needs and contact the studio by calling the number on the studio page, or by messaging the studio using the contact form. This will send a booking request to the studio and they will confirm your booking shortly after. Some studios take online payments but most don’t, meaning you will need to pay when you arrive using card or cash.

Most drum practice rooms will welcome a regular booking. You will just need to make sure that the slot is available. Many rehearsal studios get booked up in the evenings during the week, but more are available at the weekends. If you are able to practice during the day on a weekday then the slots are often available. The best thing to do is to mention that you would like a regular slot when you send your request to the studio through MusicWise, adding the details to your additional notes.

Not all drum practice rooms in London were born equal. One of the key things to look for is how frequently the drum skins are replaced. There is nothing worse than a dead drum skin which sounds flat. A good drum practice room will replace the equipment regularly and keep it in good working order. You may also want to consider the drums that they have available. Do they have a good selection of drum kits? Do they have a selection of snare drums available? These are all good things to ask when you make your first booking.

You can easily cancel your booking by calling the studio directly or by emailing them in reply to the email when they confirmed your booking. We recommend that you do this as far in advance as possible because many studios have a cancellation policy whereby you will need to pay 50% of the booking fee between 24 and 48 hours in advance of the reservation time, or 100% of the fee of cancelled less than 24 hours in advance.
